THE WINDING ROAD BY MICHAEL CLARKE

I have only visited the Peak District a couple of times but already this is a favourite place of mine. If you head up Mam Tor (which you definitely should) half way up your greeted by this sight - a winding road that leads into the village of Edale. It's a great place to watch the sun go down especially in the summer.

For this shot I made sure I left myself with plenty of time to find a composition and not have to rush, to be able to relax and take in the sunset that evening. I just had to wait for some great light to shine across the valley to really emphasise the contours of the terrain.
